Your Source for Forklift Training...
Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about how do-it-yourself forklift safety training works? No problem. We've got answers!

Are the training kits OSHA compliant?

Yes, our do-it-yourself forklift safety training kits are compliant with federal OSHA training requirements. We also have incorporated various state OSHA requirements.

Do I need to be "certified" to be a trainer?

No. Niether OSHA nor manufacturers require any certification of the trainer.

How many people can I train using one of your kits?

Our kits give you the opportunity to train as many people as you would like. Copies of the documents are included on the CD-ROM so you can print more whenever you need them.

How long does it take to train a worker using a forklift safety training kit?

There are no set time limits. The training class will last as long as it takes you to make sure the worker understands the material presented. In general, 2-6 hours is adequate to complete a training session depending on the number of trainees and their experience level.

Do I have to use the CD-ROM enclosed in the kit to perform my training?

Not at all. As long as the trainer has reasonable experience in the subject matter, he can simply use the instructor's manual and other included documents to perform training in the field. You can train your workers even when there is no access to to a computer, TV, or projector.
